Spartan Coatings isn’t just another floor coating company—it’s the result of nearly two decades of hands-on experience, honest hard work, and a no-nonsense approach to home and commercial improvement.
Founded by a former educator who swapped the classroom for concrete, Spartan Coatings has been helping Florida homeowners and businesses turn dull, worn-out surfaces into strong, clean, and visually striking spaces since 2014.
Our story started back in 2005, when our founder first stepped into the coatings industry in Louisville, Kentucky. What began as a job became a lifelong skill, a passion, and eventually, a business built on trust, quality, and service.
After moving to Florida in 2014, Spartan Coatings was born—with one mission: deliver flawless results without the gimmicks.

Our founder, a University of Kentucky grad with a background in education, built Spartan Coatings on old-school principles: show up, be honest, do the job right, and treat people with respect. It’s a mindset that’s carried through every floor we’ve resurfaced and every customer we’ve served.
Off the job, life revolves around family—his wife Kasey and their three boys, Kru, Kole, and Kade. He’s a big fan of fishing, sports, working out, and spending time outdoors. And if you're wondering why our work ethic is rock solid? It comes from living life with discipline, intention, and a clear sense of purpose.
